OK MIGHT BE GROSS BUT

I had carpel tunnel surgery two weeks ago and had my stitches taken out Monday....Tuesday I went to PT for my hand...then tuesday evening I debread the area of sutchers of dead skin pulling it off very gently by getting a little place that lifted up some then gently pulling.....now my hand is looking much better but it still hurts from surgery cutting the skin....so been using neosporin now to soften and help heal it up...my friend a nurse told me not to do that when I had stitches as she said will soften the stitches....but now I want the healing from neosporin more than anything so this hand does not hurt....


anyway glad I removed the dead skin from area of cut and scabbing of hand....

While reading your post I was getting the heebie jeebies! LOL. I have a very weak stomach, obviously!!!

One thing that my friend used after getting stitches out was vascaline on the scar. It helps heal, which I didn't know. Might have to cover it when you first put it on to let it soak in.
