I guess I would eliminate self-loathing. I don't know what the hell is up with that, but I would just let it go, and treat myself with respect and love.
I would change my teeth... They are by far not the worst out there, but I'm so self conscious about them, and that causes a whole lot of problems in terms of my self-confidence, and social interactions. Although, I have the same self-confidence issue with my hair as well. I used to have great hair, and loved to change it up all the time... Then genetics kicked in. :-(
So I guess I would go for a good all-in-one change, and just say "looks" like bell30. :-D
it's good to write down stuff on a piece of paper, though i suggest you say 3 good qualities about yourself everyday, it's a good confidence builder! don't afraid or ashamed some of the most famous/popular people do it too! :)
I would like to see myself as a loving and capable person. I listenned to a parent and others say I would not be able to achieve anything . Now that that has been contradicted several times and I recognise the parent may have intense traits of a pathological personality disorder I now realise that I believed lies. Now to believe the truth about me. I'm capable and loving and lovable. ; in other words I'd like to become the person I was meant to be or get to know me as such.
The way I was brought up. My mother had ,and still does have intense narcissistic traits, maybe a pathological personality disorder. So I was raised by an unhealthy mother who had it in for my father as she did me. She taught me unhealthy behaviors defining them as healthy. So I struggle though I'm much happier then before now that I know it is not me who had/has the problem. But I'd have at least been more successful socially and have a network of friends, if not a family. So the effects of my unhealthy upbringing.
So I guess I would go for a good all-in-one change, and just say "looks" like bell30. :-D
