My name is Sherry, I live in Arizona though from Alaska. Yes, it's been an extreme change but I love both places though the Alaska winters are toooo much. I recently accepted an offer to be an Admin here. I hope I can be of help to others here. I am currently only mildly depressed but I know the deep, dark depths of Depression well. I've had some bad ones. : )

MY NAME IS ROGER. I AM ORIGINALLY FROM WEST VIRGINIA BUT NOW LIVE IN ALABAMA. I AM 61 AND MARRIED. I HAVE ONE DAUGHTER AND TWO GRANDKIDS WHO LIVE HERE IN TOWN. I HAVE ONE SON WHO LIVES IN HEAVEN. I HAVE HAD OCD AND DEPRESSION FOR 37 YEARS. I USED TO BE IN THE MINISTRY UNTIL THESE DISORDERS OF THE BRAIN KICKED ME OUT OF THE MINISTRY. I AM HERE TO ENCOURAGE AND BE ENCOURAGED.

I came here quite some time ago. I have dealt with depression and had a nervous breakdown. I am an ex-biker. I have been stabbed, shot, cut, beat up, busted up, divorced, had my house burn down, had numerous injuries, finger cut off, broken shoulder, crushed hand, had to have steel pins in it, have numerous physical scars and also the loss of a son, 5 years ago. There afe very few things I haven't seen, done or been around. I am here to help anyone I can. God Bless all of you here.

I have been here at DS for sometime now. I know a lot of you just by reading the words you say. As i have been progressing rapidly lately. I can't do anything. I am in a wheelchair all the time. I became troubled, because i felt i did not have a purpose in my life. I wanted to help patients like me, we are facing pain and different illness. Depression is a illness. GOD has gave me this oppertunity to talk to people from everwhere. I love my heavenly father and i want his will be done. So here i am trying to help even if only i give is encouragement.. I want to help any that wants help..
