Zonegran and Side Effects \ Doing Good
I have had two really good days in a row physically and emotionally! I was bothered by the rain yesterday and felt some symptoms coming on but it didn't last very long so I was blessed by that.
The only side effect I have with this Zonegran is I get drowsy sometimes so I am now a caffeine junkie and weight loss due to lack of appetite.
Lack of appetite is fine for now. It's so weird, I think of things that I want to eat but then I'm like nah I don't want to eat. On occasion I don't want to eat but if it's set in front of me I will eat some of it. I could still stand to lose maybe 25 without looking gaunt but because I have lost 25 pounds so fast I feel like I'm wasting away. My mom said the same thing. My size 14's are too big now. This will be the first time I'm out of the teens since I was in the 3rd grade I think.
The bad part is I don't want to eat but my stomach growls and hurts, but nothing appeals to me so I just drink more water and it eventually goes away. I wonder if this side effect will eventually wear off. I hope it doesn't until I have lost another 25. lol
On the upside, weight loss is good and it's suppose to help people go into IIH remission or at least lessen symptoms, but I'm not sure that is fact. Guess I will find out. More importantly this Zonegran is helping my IIH symptoms!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!
