Your friends are calling and do not know you are gone
Oh Joe,
I took another call from your friend upstate John and his wife. They asked if they could speak to you. I had to tell them you passed on. How do you tell your friends that you are no longer here. I have to feel the pain all over again. Your old neighbor Bette called also and was so upset over your accident. She wants to come here and take me away with her for a day to get me out of the house. You know I cannot go with anyone but you or the girls. No one understands this crazy illness I have like you guys do. I try so hard to pretend I am ok while concentrating on standing up straight without tipping over.
If there is a God Joe, can you ask him first to make sure you are wonderful and happy and then can he take this horrible disease away from me for a bit. I need to be able to get out of the house and gain just a bit of independence again. I have no choice sweetie. I know you dont want me driving, but how else will I get anywhere from this area. I am careful and off the highways, dont worry.
I still dont know what you want me to do about the will and getting a lawyer to fight it. Why am I angry at you for leaving me in such a mess. I love you so much but didnt you realize how strong your ex wife was against me. I know you always called me a woose and to grow a thick skin so no one will take advantage of me, but you fell in love with me, not a bi-ch! You always told me you loved my heart and how much I give to others. now I need your strength to get my 1/3 of your "millions"!! You always thought you would be the mega millionaire loL! I love you so much. I see that cardinal again in the yard. It is bitter cold and he lands under the tree and sits there. Abbey cat and I watch it..Is it you coming to visit me?
I hope you like your little xmas tree. Yes I did the memorial tree with you crazy ornaments all with batteries and working!! You know I kind of like it and may just use it every year. I remember the first year I met you, we put up this tiny tree in that basement apartment you had. You took me to the 99 cents store and bought all the same colored ornaments to put on it!! We had so much fun alone in the one room. It was private and cozy and I loved being with you there. I will never forget how much you taught me about love and how much I taught you about being "faithful to those you love".....bet you never thought you could love just one person! it only took you ten years to get the fact that I adored you but that is ok, the ride was worth it.
Had alot to say to you today but the days are cold and long now. All the leaves finally fell off our tree in the yard except three...they have hung on through all the wind and cold..Three yellow leaves...Me, You and Abbey Cat...that is where the red cardinal sits..right under them. ME~
