You never know

Ended up in Urgent Care Monday.  Pleurisy hit again and boy did it hit hard, right in the chest.
They ask, "Are you having shortness of breath?"  Yes I am having shortness of breath.  That usually happens to me when I can't breathe.
"Any nausea?"  Yes, but I always have nausea when I swallow a handful of codiene, Ibuprofen and Tylenol trying to make the pain stop.
"Any numbness or tingling in your fingers?"  Yes, but that could be because I have carpal tunnel, tendonitis, bad circulation, lack of oxygen because I can't breathe or any combination of these.
You can think of this disease as an adventure.  You never know how much pain and excitement you're gonna get that day.
I wake up, coffee, shower, work.  Just living the life, then Bam! (Emeril style).  Next thing you know I'm sitting partially nude in a clinic waiting for the results of my EKG and Xrays.
All's good.  Whew, Thank God.  I don't even want to think what it would feel like if everything wasn't 'good'?

Aah hon, guess I\'ll have to come over there & pamper & spoil you for a while won\'t I. Please know I offer a prayer on your behalf for your wellness. Please take good care, what you went thru is pretty scary.
Lord: Here my prayer for my friend here. Give your hand & protection during this rough time of illness. Give her your healing support to help her on her way to better times.

Glad that everything checked out.
Pleurisy is HORRIBLE, hope you feel better soon.
And love that your sense of humor is still intact!
