Here's you a giggle...... I am Irish on both sides and so I am so Irish I'd bleed green. Make my kids wear green faithfully on St Patrick's!
Tell them, "You come from a long line of proud drunken Irish men! GET ON YOUR GREEN!" ANYWAY, my eldest son, (21) I reminded today to be sure to wear his green. He just sighed and said "Mother, I know you don't want to accept this but..." I cut him off right there! I said "LOOK! When we adopted you, you got what we got and you got what we didn't get. SO YOU ARE IRISH!" He said "Mother, we fight over this every d*** year. I'm Italian not Irish." I stood my ground. "You're Irish because I am." He finally just sighed and chose to ignore me. ROFLOL
Yep, family traditions....ya gotta love 'em. ROFLOL At least he will never in his LIFE forget St. Patrick's and our lovely little banters! ROFLOL
