You Called Me

"You Called Me, And I Came To You"

September 5, 2017

You called me, and I came to you. You were a complete mess. Emotionally, and I couldn't believe the way you looked. You couldn't even look at me when we spoke, or in fact... it seemed like you didn't even notice I was there with you.

The first thing you said to me, "Please, come here, I want you. You always know... you always knew what to do and how to make me feel comfortable, loved, and appreciated. I know you care. Even knowing that he broke my heart to a point that I didn't know how to, or if in fact that it was repairable again."

This was not you, but I did what you asked and sat right next to you... patiently. I remember before I started talking (me next to you), and said,

"What's wrong? What happened? What did he say to you? What did you do? You look terrible. Please, just talk to me. I don't care, we don't have to do anything. I'm here, and I'm listening, I'm all ears when it comes to you. Whatever you have to say, just say it... please open up!"

You looked at me with a confused, but a shocking, horrible look. I can see right through you, and you looked at me (assuring that it was true), that the fact was... that there was nothing or anything, you couldn't hide nothing from me.

All of a sudden... out of nowhere... you cried... and cried... and blabbered... and this... while you talked... and cried... and kept blabbering out! Some of your words I couldn't understand, and then your anxiety took over. I wrap my arms around you.

"YOU" were a utter complete mess, but you were "MY" utter complete mess. You knew that I would always be there for you as long as it was possible. We were both there for each other.

Then you said to me, "Do you know that somehow... your this savior that came out of nowhere? Thank you!"

I replied, "I think we both saved each other. Thank you for being there for me as well."

Little did I know that... that would be the last time that we would ever see one another again.

I. Was. Speechless!
