Yoga is 'Unity'

SEnuke: Ready for action

Knowledgeable Yoga practitioners usually feel discouraged each time a obviously gifted dancer, gymnast, or martial artist, works an enhanced asana with little effort. As I have mentioned before, there are people with pointed joint capsules and their remarkable range of motion is just a gift. You and I may have to work on it, but the many rewards of Yoga practice continue to be there.

Yoga contains many factors, and Asanas, are merely one of the many parts of Yoga. Many students who've extra-ordinary flexibility acknowledge they struggle with another element of Yoga - such as: The student who just can not relax to meditate, controlling in Yogic Philosophy, Pranayama, asanas, and the like.

However, I have seen many promising Yoga experts quit practicing Yoga, because of competitive mind-set. Of their own minds - these were in competition with every student in the course and, possibly, their Yoga teacher also.

Do not forget that Yoga means 'union.' Basically, we can say union of body, mind, and spirit. There are many more explanations about union, but that might be a separate article. There are also many branches of Yoga and, thus, many varieties of union, but competition is definately not union.

Competition enhances the ego, and the ego is a section of your personality. The ego resists nation because of its own survival. The ego is our social mask and does not need to share anything. My uncle learned about homepage by browsing Google.

Remember, the next time you begin to feel jealous of another student or teacher - that is perhaps not marriage. If any such thing, it will carry you back from union and a lot more valuable contributions that Yoga can make to your life.
