YIPPEE!
I did it!!! I finished my final project!! What a huge weight lifted. I am so proud of myself and so very, very relieved. Just one class to go and then....degree! I don't plan to go through commencement exercises--just want the degree and to experience life without any classes (except for the ones I teach) for at least a year! I've decided not to make a career change to special ed. but to stay where i'm at. I think that will be less stressful than literally starting over. I may change fields in a year or two, but for right now, I think I'll do well to stay put. I feel pretty darn good health wise. Wow, last week was awful! Such incredible fatigue, nausea, aching...I think it was the flu or an exacerbation? I will probably never know. Does it really matter anyway? I just hope that I stay healthy and don't go back into my cycle of sick for one, feel decent for one, sick for another, feel really good for a week, and so on. This is the cycle I've been in since September. I've decided, however, that it has ended. No more cycle! Maybe now with no play practice and the final project done (phew!) I'll experience better health since a huge amt. of stress is gone. Fantastic temperatures here--76 degrees. Wonderful for April in ND. Hope it continues as I believe that the weather really determines my overall health (especially mental health) as well. I celebrated getting done with my project by going shopping. While at K-Mart I was looking at a clearance rack and on it there were stuffed graduation bears. Half price! Couldn't resist and bought myself one...even though graduation is not until August (hopefully), I just had to treat myself. Pretty silly. But that's me.
