Yesterday was a bad day

Yesterday was a sad day for me. I am off of Cabergoline for 2 weeks and I'm having some issues with swelling. I was SOOO achey I could hardly stand it. I had a head cold and cough to boot. I had time alone and started thinking about surgery. It frightens me but so does the end result of acromegaly. I just found out about the IGF-1 elevation 2 weeks ago and I think it is sinking in. Some days the struggle to remain positive about this condition seems impossible. I'm glad the blues cleared and I feel better today. Still have the head cold but oh well. Advil helped the aching a little so I could get some Christmas shopping done. Onward and upward!!
