Yesterday just went on by in a minute, yesteryear went by in a second..

Gosh, I hate how homework is taking over my social life that I'm trying to maintain. One of my good friends from another state just recently moved back here to California, and I try to hang out with her as much as I can, but homework and other psychological problems (such as insomnia, I can't sleep too late otherwise, I can't sleep at all!) get in the way. For one, I can't study past 9pm, otherwise I can't sleep. Plus, I'm trying to make it a habit to get up early everyday in order to go to the gym, do chores, then homework. I wish I could stay up late on the weekends, but then my sleeping patterns get messed up. So I think it kinda annoys my friends who want to stay up late every weekend on a night on the town. Don't get me wrong. I love going out parying; it's just that my insomnia gets really bad, and my psychologist told me that I need to fix it by going to bed almost everyday at the same time. It sucks. Plus I'm gaining weight from eating too much because of stress (due to homework that I dread to do). Sometimes, I think that maybe if I changed my major to music, which I love so dearly, then I wouldn't be as stressed out. Or even if I was stressed out, I wouldn't dread the homework as much. I don't know. I'd be scared that I'd go broke and nowhere decent to live. Making a living as a musician is a gamble, and it's hard to predict how much money you can make. Plus I want to have a family someday and I'm in the last yeas of healthy child-bearing and I don't even have a boyfriend, let alone a husband! I feel like I have to establish myself now with a secure job before I can even try to have a family, but at  the same time, I want to pursue my dream as a great musician. I have a few songs written, years of singing and performing under my belt, but have a mind full of confusion that lingers and won't go away!
