year 8

For some reason this year was pretty emotional for me.  I had to do a lot of "fighting" to keep it together when I was at work and around other people.  My grandkids were all busy so I didn't get to see them.  I so appreciated all of you who took time to send hugs and comment on facebook.  You are simply the best.  I did have a nice phone conversation with my oldest son.  I survived and now I move forward.  Love you all and am truly hoping to see you all in Florida...my plan anyway!!!!!!

We just never know do we how these most tender of days will be navigated and yet, always deeply felt and with the support of our sisters of the heart who \"get it\" and in that is my comfort that I don\'t have to go into explanation when I come here and you all just understand...

Understanding and feeling this tremendous loss with you and grateful always for the deep exhales the \"day after.\"

Hoping to see you too in Florida and am setting the intention for it to unfold. A very long, long way for me to travel, yet so very worth it, I know.

Loving care and have a gentle long weekend,
XO Joanie

Hi there! So nice to have a new friend :) I truly don\'t know how I would have survived, without FMO, after my son Dean died. He has been gone for 3 yrs and 8 months, yet I still can\'t seem to accept it.
I was able to attend last years retreat, at Lake Tahoe. It really helped me a lot. I hope to be able to attend this year, in Florida. I would be able to drive this time, as I live in Mississippi and the drive would not be bad.I will be glad when everything has been arranged, so we will know what the plans are.
BTY...my daughters live in different states from me, so I am pretty much on my own. I hope to learn more about you soon :)

Sending you wishes for more peaceful days. There\'s several that are more difficult to navigate. Clinton was right in the forefront of your mind as you tried to work through the day. Moving forward along with you.
Gentle hugs for you and your precious son,
Debbie

I understand your comments so very well. I am so numb most of the time it seems to be the normal way now. Hoping you have a good week and can feel the love of your son Clinton all around you. Hugs, Kathy
