Yea....maybe!
Got a call last night that they were almost ready to move my stuff back into the house. I should be thrilled, but am right in the middle of another frikken flare!!! This one is a whole body type, hips knees, shoulders and of course my hands and foot. My rheumy has had me fore go Methotrexate treatment for going on 4 weeks. Bill & I both got hit with "flu-plague" like symptoms mine about 4 weeks ago and his 3 weeks ago. We both had our flu shots, so I'm concluding we have the flu,, but not in it's most virulent form. At least 6 other long terms guests at his establishment have had whatever the hell it is.
This is how depressing this is: I've gotten my first insurance check for contents due to smoke damage our hotel is across the street from the Galleria, a huge shopping mall, and I am to pooed to shop!! This is the shits! I'm on my 3rd day of steroids, so hopefully by tomorrow or the next day I won't feel like I've been run over by a mack truck. I'll try and finalize my contents list for the insurance company, which is daunting, and I am not complaining. We are getting a do over on our house. New air conditioning, heater and ducts; new paint, new floors, furniture-I CANNOT complain. Would just appreciate the steroids to kick in and get the "excessive energy" boost that follows; just in the nick of time, too.
I want my drugs back!!!!!!!! For now bud will have to do for the pain, and it does make things not seem so bleak. Hope all who read this are having a pain free day. Warm hugs to everyone. Trish

Thanks Terri, steroids are kicking into high. Tomorrow my daughter\'s mother-in-law is taking me to the mall for bedroom stuff. Man 27 years in one house and a little fire, a lot of smoke can really reek havoc on things. You don\'t realize how much stuff you really don\'t have to have after being in a hotel for 3 months. When we get home I am planning a huge \"fire sale\" and be donating a bunch of stuff.
