YAY! ITS SATURDAY

No early rise for me today....son went out for the night and I heard a gentle knock at the very civilised time of 8.00 am.  He had been home for a while but amused the dogs outside so we could sleep in....uncharacteristically kind of him....mind you he has some fences to build with me over his fairly crap attitude yesterday.   Last couple of days have had no energy whatsoever, this flare is lasting longer than usual.  I am guessing its "post guest trauma" along with the fact I have a tooth which has been bothering me for about two weeks.  I made an appointment to see the Dentist  (11.00am Monday), so have started antibiotics today.  Every time a Dentist touches my mouth I get horrible ulcers, abscesses or infections....I hate going....also here there is no regulatory body to monitor charges....so they charge what they like, which as you can imagine is a lot. Quite a bit happening around here just now....my husband resigned from his job last week, he has jury duty starting on Monday and finishing.....well...whenever they let him go...He dropped his tools off at his new job and told them what was going on, they are fine with him starting whenever he wants (he is very good at what he does).  I hope they don't keep him too long at the court - I believe it is mind numbingly boring and he's not big on reading so he'll just sit and fidget.  He always used to complain he never got picked (my stepsons and I have been called numerous times) now he has, he doesn't want to go!  The boys never went as they were in London, and I had job exemptions twice and a health exemption the other time.  Not sure how much longer the jury system will be in place here, there is much debate on its efficacy.  My mother got called and loved it .  That is the scary bit about the jury system, slightly dippy retirees who treat it like a soap opera - Thankfully we don't have the death penalty here! Was so low yesterday evening my love was keen to give me an early Christmas present to cheer me up.  Not necessary, but really sweet.   Out he comes with one of those massage chair overlays....was quite surprised and it was amazingly comfortable.  Have attached it to the computer chair so I am being pummelled as I journal.  It is also designed to fit on the car seat and plug into the dash.....will be good for those long trecks to TAFE.  Seems to alleviate stiffness.....it's a bit easier to get up, so that's a bonus .  Not saying it's going to fix much, but I guess it will keep the circulation going, and besides it was such a nice thing for him to do.  He is such a good man.  Must admit, all our boys  treat women very respectfully, I think all those years of seeing him do the househusband thing were positive.  They have seen him at work and at home, behind a huge truck or welding metal plates and in front of the kitchen sink and a sewing machine.   They've also seen me do the same, not welding, but I used to wield a mean axe, I've helped demolish and renovate houses and was the sole earner for over 10 years.  I've always preferred wellingtons to stilettos ......I am starting to ramble here....but I feel so bloody useless just now.....I want to be what I was...but that gentle reader is not going to happen.  There's no going back...but going forward better be good or I'm bailing...There is a sign on our local Catholic church noticeboard, they have it so you can see from the road, they change the words every week.   A couple of weeks ago it read "If its going to be it is up to me"...great sentiment, but what if you are just too exhausted!!! So there you go...my general update....ramble....state of mind....pitiful bleat...I will endeavour to get myself out of this hole I've dug....fortunately I'm so tired it's probably not very deep...I wish you all love, light and peace.
