Yay for Sisters in law!

I am glad that the working day is over! I really struggled with fatigue today...don't really understand why.
Day two of bloods and they already want me to come in and have a lok at my ovaries to see if any follicles are developing. I had a major panic attack as I didn't want to be scanned by the same doctor that scanned me last time and made a throw away comment about me having PCOS which lead to a huge drama. I was so flustered when I got the call (not from my regular nurse either) that I agreed to it straight away. It was only after I hung up that I realised that I might have to be scanned by that same doctor. So I rang my husband and he called the fertility centre and spoke to our nurse who has luckily sorted out a different doctor to scan me. I also had a sneaky peak myself today and none of the follicles are very big at all so it kinda seems pointless to scan me yet anyway. I think that my cycle os quite a bit longer than the average and that I don't ovulate until around day 20...if this is the case, then we are 10 days early! (The follicle I saw today was maximum 12mm-they tend to grow around 2mm per day and therefore wont' really be ready to rupture until late next week! Usually around 20mm ish)
Anyway, I have put the scan off until Friday which suits me better-but I am hoping thathtey don't give me the HCG too early-ugh I guess we will see....
To say Idon;t have much faith in my doctors is a bit of an understatement. I live in a smallish city in a small country-these "specialists" are the only ones in the vicinity and seem to be a bit full of their own self importance...their viewpoint seems to be"hey if you don't like the service, go somewhere else"-which is awful when dealing with something as traumatic as infertility.
Anyway, enough with the negativity-maybe they will be spot on and know exactly what is happening this cycle round.

Apart from that debacle today was quite a nice day. My husband got home from study early which meant that we could take a lovely run in the sun after work today....whic I am really grateful for. Speaking of which; here are my three things:
1. I am grateful for the power of forgiveness (I know that my previous comment about my fertility doctors isn't very forgiving but I am really working on it trust me) I had to get in touch with an old colleague that I used to be close with in the old days. We had a falling out and I    didnt act like a very good person at all-I emailed her recently and apologised for the ways things had worked out in the end...she immediately replied saying that it was all in the past and there was nothing to worry about. I had been raking myself over the coals for the way I had behaved for years-and her simple kind words kind of freed me a little...it was nice.
2. I am grateful for my amazing sister in law and my brother. So, I live in a different country to the rest of my family. We aren't a very close family and I keep in sporadic contact with my sister in law. She also went through serious infertility problems (she now has two beautiful healthy boys) and I have often confided in her over the last few months. As if that wasn't enough to be thankful for, today I come home to find a hand made card in the mail from her....just saying that she and her family are thinking of us....how nice is that??? So lucky to have that kind of sister in law!!
3. I am grateful for the beautiful countryside and delightful weather we have been having I really enjoyed going for a run with the husband and taking in the beautiful countryside.
Ok thats all for now-the cat is occupying my lap and making it near impossible to type.
Hope all is well with those of you who have had some great news over the last few days. Also, my thoughts are with those who have had some not so great news. This community is here to support you no matter what.
Over and out : )
