Yard work

Yard work made this situation real on Sunday.  My 3 year old daughter was out with some of my friends and their daughter and it was nice out so I decided to get some stuff done.  And then it hit me.  She's not here.  If she was there was a chance she would have been helping me.  At the least she would have been out there playing with our daughter or sitting on our neighbor's porch while her husband also did yard work.  My neighbor said the same thing when I was having a beer on her porch after I finished up.  Tough day.  And to think there is a such long way to go before this gets any easier and there are a lot of these 'firsts' yet to come really sucks.
