Hi friend, sending our best wishes. we're sorry you're seeing dots on your tv, and that the xumos installation didn't work. we hope the cable company can do a full review, and can resolve the issue. i'm wondering if it's a resolution issue, with the digital cable signal, and your tv, and maybe a new cable cord could be helpful, in getting your tv to work well. sometimes the digital cable can upgrade, and more new wires are required. we have an HDMI cable attached to our tv. is there any chance you could get a Roku, and could get your cable to work thru it? my parents have a roku upstairs. Holly and i have a flat screen tv, and my parents have a smart tv. sending our best wishes, and positive energy from us all.

You probably should drop cable unless like you said the complex gives it free maybe
But will they let you get directv? That comes thru internet now

The cable company did mention a roku. They also said the problem could be thier application i think that's on thier engineering side.
I pay for my cable it's cheap. Ì can't switch cable companies no! Ì have a new flat screen TV. There should be a problem with the cable.
My Caregiver might take me back to the cable company.
