Xbox One Controller Preview

With new systems come brand new controllers.

We were taken aback from the Nintendo's introduction of the Wiimote. Though what the core players need is just your standard controller. We do not require motion xbox controller for pc to play games; we need that we have something in our hand with thumbsticks and activates.

Now I'm at E3 I needed to receive my hands on a control from the next generation of consoles. The first I got to play is your Xbox One's. Microsoft has not had a perfect track record with controls - anyone recall the Duke controller from the original Xbox? Luckily, this control is more Xbox 360 then the Duke. The very first thing you will notice is that it looks just a bit bigger than a 360 controller. It is only an illusion; when anything it felt more comfortable and comfortable in my hands than the previous one ever did.

The most significant thing in my opinion that they absolutely had to improve was that the D-Pad. About the Xbox One's version, it is slick (in a fantastic way), quickly and it creates a beautiful click once you apply pressure on the pad. I'm curious to see how nicely a fighting game will play with this new controller.

ps3 controller on pc of Duty and Halo would be the Xbox's most popular games; they are both shooters and you constantly have to use both analog sticks. So was there a means to improve the already great analog sticks out of the 360? It sure feels like they did. The analog sticks felt light but sturdy and seemed to be quite accurate. Dare I say games console gaming is becoming closer to the accurate feeling of a mouse onto a computer?

It is found in the upper middle portion of the control and you may inadvertently hit it. Microsoft chose to allow it to be horizontal (and thus harder to push unintentionally) and place it at the very top of the controller. This is a wise place for the button and I don't see a lot of folks hitting it in the midst of gameplay.

Together with the other many updates made from the Xbox 360 controller, the triggers got some love too, with rumble additional to each. This sounds absurd but as soon as you try it for yourself, you'll begin to wonder why we did not have this before. When I had been playing Forza 5, I was power sliding to a sharp turn and you might feel that the tires squeal across the pavement through the trigger rumbles. It was subtle and added into the immersive feeling.

There are only a few things I had complaints about, most especially the left and right bumpers. They seem to have made them a bit larger and while playing Crimson Dragon they did not exactly feel great as I attempted to barrel roll from the method of projectiles. This may also be an issue with the match but the buttons themselves were just okay. This is no way a major issue and I'm convinced it will just take some time getting used to.
