x wife fled
Well I found out yesterday that because of the DUI the x got she was up for 6 to 12 months in jail, I found out that she fled back to New Zealand. There is a sense of relief and yet sadness. relief its completely over and she can not come back or she will be arrested, and sadness for my son that she had not nor does she seem to plan to turn her life around. Knowing his mother left without a word to him and no relative as well. I cried last night in disbelief that all this has happened, yet I feel free and look forward to the future.

Good, now she\'s out of your life forever. It is sad for your son, but he\'s got one strong man looking out for him. He\'ll be OK. You can\'t pick your family - but with her being gone, it will be like a book you put down, and not pick up again for a long time. Count your blessings.
