Wrong and Mean...

I admit that I'm berating myself... After not getting my morning coffee and calling Mr. Coffee because the pot would not brew, I was mean.  I would just like to know how many people actually run vinegar through their pot each month??? The woman at Mr. Coffee made me feel like a dirty, filthy (gardening not withstanding), sloppy slob because I did not.  The damn thing is only 1 yr 2 mo old, and I don't understand why I have so many problems with it when this has never happened with any coffeemaker (particularly Mr. Coffee) I've ever had! Clearly, I was not getting any help from Mr. Coffee because my warranty was expired by 2 months.  I got mad and told her to take her coffeemaker and shove it up her ASS... Ok, I've washed my mouth out with soap... LOL

Did you at least suggest to her to unplug it and allow it to cool off before she had to insert the coffee maker where the sun doesnt shine? I am thinking we sometimes need a coffee delivery service; I am not much fun when I dont get mine either LOL

I ran vinager thru mine one time because I saw it on TV or something. It took forever to clean out the vinegar!! I ran loads of water through it and the next batch of coffee still tasted like it. I won\'t do it again.

Oh lok out CJ is on the rampage!! Yea I use to have to do the vinegar thing all the time because of the well water. Now to solve the problem of having to buy a new coffee pot every year, no matter what make or model, and to have to smell that stinky vinegar, I simply buy Distilled water. Makes truely awesome coffee and uses half the amount!!! Really a money saver in the long haul of things. Kroger\'s jug water is about $.89. Just a though for your pretty little head!! Love Ya Up!!

Oh no! It\'s the coffee enema thing again! I cleaned my Mr. Coffee coffee pot with vinegar once and the coffee didn\'t taste any better or worse, so I kind of forgot about the whole thing. :)

We have to clean our out with
vinegar every few weeks. It makes the coffee maker run quicker. We have such hard water in Emmaus that we also have to have our dishwasher serviced regularly. I think there is something wrong with me though...I am beginning to not want coffee in the morning and Lipton Iced Tea instead.

You didn\'t deserve that angel. i don\'t wash my coffee pot with vinegar. i usually run water through it first, and then brew coffee, but lately, i\'ll just had the coffee pot unplugged, and i just tip it upside down in the sink, and wash it that way! hehe! ;)

I never run vinegar thru my coffee pot. I would just run some hot water thru it 2-3 times....make sure the pot is clean, and the filter (if reusable) is clean. The basket for the filter clean........Which reminds me I need to do that. I do drink coffee , but my hubby does. If Mr Coffee company is giving you that bad of a time, ask to speak with a supervisor, and tell them about your experience with their customer service and how disatisfied you are with their service and product. That you called for help and was be littled and felt shamed for calling in for help. That the coffee pot is just a couple months past the 1 yr warranty, and now that u may have to replace it, you will not reccomend their brand, and let all your friends and family know about the lousy customer service you had.
Believe me, that works, I have had free meals bought by companies trying to get on my good side.(and the company was not a restaurant LOL) I have had my vaccum fixed at their cost, when it was 1yr and 3 months old...due to bad design...they sent me a new one LOL....
I don\'t try to get free stuff....I just say what I feel, but I have taken tips from my family members and it helps...it also improves their customer service department, and sometimes their product.
good luck hon.
big hugs
