WRONG!
What I thought would be a peaceful day with resolution turned into a veritable nightmare...
Working with a bank as large as Chase Bank is virtually impossible... I would not recommend it to anyone whatsoever...
I ended up talking with 5 different people regarding my issue with my finances and each of them told me a different story...
I finally spoke with a supervisor, insisted on speaking with a supervisor, and we were able to resolve the issue... I hung in there, though... I stood up for myself...
Very, very frustrating...
My stomach is now upset...
I don't do well getting along with others...

I know the feeling-I don\'t handle business well over the phone either-but congrats on hanging in there and doing good for yourself
It can be very frustrating working with people who are total strangers and who are watching the clock because they hate their jobs. It\'s good you stood up for yourself. If they didn\'t have depositors, they wouldn\'t be a business! Whatever happened to the \"customer is always right\"????? ugh
I hear exactly what you are saying... I specifically told them I would no longer do buisness as I was treated like a little person considering they work with billions of dollars... I will need to keep this account open until my financial contacts are taken care of... Otherwise, I will open an account with a local bank and take care of it that direction... It was horrific... The customer is always right does not work at all with large corporations... I wish it did... And, thank you for the encouragement... I tell you... It was a nightmare... I appreciate your friendship... I truly do... All my heart, Lila...
I\'m glad you were able to work it out, finally. Dealing with companies these days is extremely frustrating. I had a similar experience (thankfully, not in person) several years ago when a large corporate company swallowed up several of my credit cards. This happened at the same time I moved, so things got lost in the mail. Anyway, I called them because one of my cards did not show up on their new website. They gave me the run around and didn\'t fix anything. They said to pay the bill now and I had to explain - several times to several different people - that I pay everything online and without the online account I could not pay the bill as I did not have a paper bill. Of course, I missed the due date and they tried to increase my interest rate significantly even though I never missed a payment before that. I had to play phone tag multiple times and I swear those answering the phones read from a script (I had to argue with several people over several days)... I insisted I speak to someone in charge who miraculously fixed everything for me. If I didn\'t fight for my rights, I would have ended up in a bad situation unable to pay my bills as they wanted to increase the interest rate by over 20% (for missing one payment over a 5 year period). Hang in there.
I feel for you, I really do... As of today, my payments have lowered 300.00 starting the beginning of next month... I can only hope everything goes through by that time... Yes, speaking with a supervisor really changes people\'s attitude regarding their service... I made sure the supervisor knew I had already talked to four different people who told me four different things... I also told her there was absolutely no excuse for them to not create case notes for each call... It would only take a minute... That way calls can be tracked... I also made her stay on the line with me while I talked with a representative... She even gave me her direct number if there were any problems... Oh my Goodness... It was truly horrific! Let\'s just hope they pick up the beginning of the month like they said they would... All my heart, Lila...
proud of you for dealing with this and walking through your fears. WTG Lila. I hate dealing with business over the phone, too. I\'m not much doing it in person, either, lol.
I am grateful it was over the phone and not in person... Had it been the other way around, I would most likely have appeared far more out of control than I actually was and would have been far less able to express myself so openly... Goodness... We shall see if all of this effort comes to fruition on the beginnning of the month... All my heart... Lila...
