Wow, Wow & Double Wow

I had my 1st appt with my new alternative health treatment practioner.   If nothing else it sure showed me how the guy I had seen a few times after my original left really did not fully connect with me on every level.
The facility I'm going to now is called Aromansse Natural Healing, Yoga & Meditation.  Her name is Nadia & she was almost too amazing.  She originally thought she was going to do a cold laser therapy to help realign & balance my immune system but when I got there & we talked a bit she decided to do a combination of 2 diff reflexologys & reiki.
Her treatment started with a light rub all over the foot & up to the knee with heated oil.  Man on man if I was cat I would of purred.  She then did a combination of hot stone reflexology using jade stones & a bit of thai reflexology.  These are only two of 6 different speciality eastern treatments she's deeply experienced in.    She finished my treatment with a reiki session which she did a bit differently then what I thought the norm was but I'll admit I'm not completely knowledgeable in all aspects of Reiki.
The room is very peacful & balanced somehow.  The music playing faintly in the background was a combination of chinese zen style & even some more nature type music where I could hear softly an eagle in the background.
We talked afterwards a bit & here's where it really makes me shake my head.  She said she had decided to change her original plan cause although I had fully filled her in on my health she wanted to get a feel for what was going on all other levels too.  She said that all my organs & related stuff seemed actually good but she was picking up something with my liver, some sort of anxiety and/or anger & frustration.  I smiled & nodded & told her she was right on.  I told her I'm taking methotrexate again & explained how it can be hard on the liver & how really pissed off I am abt that whole thing.  She also said that she was picking up alot of tension around my neck & shoulders, again not a physical thing but she felt it was more like something in my mind that I'm really stewing abt or thats troubling me.  I again had to nod & explained to her abt my sister & her raging depression & that she's hospitalized again.
I told her that during our session there were 4 times where my mind actually went 200% blank, absolutely no even teeny tiny thought.  She was really pleased as she said that was a sign that I had surrendered myself to a total meditative state (she's a hemi sync meditation expert also).  Wow can I tell you did that feel good, talk abt a vacation of the mind.
So I purchased a guided meditation CD from her collection as I do like to spend serious meditation time & the one I bought really centers on clearing & grounding you from your heart core & totally relaxing the body to enable your body to heal & balance.
The only instruction she gave when I left was to drink at least an 8 to 10 ounce glass of water which is easy for me & which I did at supper & tomorrow to spend a bit of quiet time & to open a window wherever I am to help clean any negative air around me & allow fresh air from nature to come in.  We're quite nice here now so that can be a go also.
So I just wanted to share this with my few friends who I thought might like to read abt this.  It felt so uplifting & has given me a real positive step forward I tell ya.
