Wow! This is new :-)

Today was trenten's 2nd birthday. I had to work today, but since we close early on Saturday, my sister planned the party to start at 3, so the girls and I wouldn't be too late. I told Timmy last night that I was going, he of course said nothing...I knew what he was thinking, his displeasure was palpable, but he didn't say a word. I tried to call him as I was leaving work at 2, no answer. When I got home, I went to call him again but the phone was updating so it was pretty much out of commission for a good 30 minutes. I changed clothes, wrapped the gifts, and paid the girls phone bill. When the phone was done we left. He called as we were driving and started in on his inquisition....you decided to turn your phone back on, that kind of stuff. I told him the phone was updating, to which he replied that it sounded like something I had done to the phone. I said, once, that I didn't do it, but of course he keeps saying over and over that I did. I say simply "ok". He then starts yelling at me not to say that to him. I said"well I've already told you once that I didn't, I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise as it's obvious you're not really trying to listen, you just want an argument, so okay." He promptly hangs up...his new favorite thing to do as he now knows I find this one of the most disrespectful things a person can do...he now does out at least twice a day, EVERY  DAY!! So, I start to get flustered and upset. I start to feel angry and bad and even scared. Then I just decided f that. I'm not going to let him ruin yet another day for me and my kids. I turned the radio up and the girls and I laughed and sang along and talked about the silliest things. I then went and had a fabulous time with my family. I feel great. This might seem like a little thing, but it isn't. This is the first time I can honestly say I enjoyed something when he does that. Didn't even THINK about him once. Great feeling!!!!

Awesome!! Feels so good to finally be able to disengage. Soon you will start looking forward to him hanging up on you just to have the \"conversation\" over. And then he\'ll stop doing it.

Glad you had such a nice time, and you could forget about him and his rubbish for even a little while! It should be like that all the time :)
