WOW the time flys by....

It has been a couple of months since my last update so here it is.  I celebrated my 2nd sobriety b-day back in February.  I am still active in AA, making atleast two meetings a week.  More if time permits, less if I am wrangeling the kids.  After a year of being with my kids things are looking up. Atleast the relationship with them.  My oldest girl starts highschool next year. My boy turns 11 this summer and my little pixie turns 4!!! Wow!!!   I am still teaching highschool. I am waiting and searching for a higher paying alternative to teaching.  I still love teaching but I am tired of being broke.  Child support, even though necassary, is still difficult to make because of my low salary and other obligations.  Money is the only stressor I have now which is wonderful considering how many I had just a short while ago.  I am spending alot more time with my kids, especially the boy.  I make all of his karate practices and boy scout activities.  I even get to pick him up somtimes.  The ex can still have her moments.  I will admit that I am not entirely happy with the step dad and the way he treats the children.  My son is looking foward to turing 12 so that he can live with me.  I look back at all of the trials I have been through in the last 3 years and I am thankful that God has stayed with me through all of it.  I am looking foward to my days now alot more than I use too.  Blessing to all who read this and if you are still suffering, "Let go and let God."  He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself
