Wow..that hoover didn't last long at all:-)

So, my "perfect" husband has very quickly morphed back into himself. What a shocker:-) Actually, I can laugh about it because it only cements in my mind the decision that was made well over a year ago to end this for good. He thinks that a week of niceness magically erases all the bad he's done over the years and the fact that he was caught red-handed cheating (although according to him, that wasn't him). He even went and told his MOTHER about the video, as if that solidifies his assertion that he wasn't in that video, and now SHE'S calling me telling me she just knows in her heart that he wouldn't do something like this. Mind you, he's been nothing but a bastard to her for many years, and refused to go to her house on Thanksgiving (for the first time in I don't know how long) because his stepfather pissed him off a few days beforehand, although he at least called her to whine about the fact that I'm gone all the time, working. She told me that he went on and on for over an hour about how unfair my second job was to HIM. I'm not doing the laundry every day like I was, and he expects me to, instead he sometimes has to wait..gasp...two or three days for me to wash clothes! His dinner isn't ready when he expects it to be; he has to wait for me to get home from work (yes, on Thanksgiving night I got home at 1:30 in the morning; had to be back at work at 8 AM, and he threw a literal temper tantrum until I got up and fixed him something to eat so I could get some sleep). I ended up not getting to sleep until well after 3:30 AM and then had to get back up at 7 to get ready and be at work.
So....all in all, nothing has changed, except that I am working pretty much 7 days a week, most of those days more than 12 hours between the two jobs. And he is making it harder and harder for me to hold on for the needed couple of months because he's being such an ass. But that's okay because it will soon be over. (I keep reminding myself that I took this job for a reason and that reason is that it will lead me out the door). He actually has the nerve to have his damn hand out, expecting me to give him money since I am making more than I was. Jerk! He won't get a dime from me more than he already has (and does). I just keep telling him that I only made about $70 on my first paycheck and that all went into bills and Christmas gifts, sorry. He's angry, but oh well. He's not taking my money from me.
I got another phone. Won't tell him about this one at all. I plan to just turn off the one I have when I move and use the secret one he knows nothing about. I haven't really put much away for the future because I really did have bills that I needed to catch up on, but I did put some away and will continue to do so. I have decided that, as difficult as this job is, I plan to keep it part time once the holidays are over just as a safety net.
Anyway, that's my life today.
