WOW IT'S JUNE 24TH 2010

HI good people , it's been along time since we all chatted! I went too my 8th AME DR who by the way denied my surgery 18 months ago! why ? he's confused ( different info from other DR) reports - in which it states requesting a total disc replacement on 2 discs & possible fussing 2 other discs? so good people any sugestions, cause it's going on 5yrs this sept! i'm pissed & tired & just wants to get my life back as much as possible! to all please have a great weekend PETERS

Try contacting your local politician and letting them know of the obstacles you are facing. Often if you tell them of your plight and your own diligent attempts to get the treatment you need and the disability that you need. Let them know how you would rather be working than having to apply for disability, but you accept this is the hand you have been dealt, what you can not accept is being treated like a second class citizen due to a disability. Maybe even highlight that you are rather outraged that your own government agencies would disregard the human rights code and deny you the right to speak at your own hearing. If that isn\'t a violation of rights and liberties and a bias toward persons with disabilities i don\'t know what is....they may make this \'butt head\" reassess her position!
Worked for me:) I work for the government and they were screwing me over, my politicians assisted me and presto bamo stopped harrassing me...for the most part!

I did contact my congressman when I was trying to get my SSD and he did help me here in Mississippi. So sorry to see you going through it for 5yrs, that is how long it took me. Once I got on my medicare they could not do enough for me, they wore me out doing different stuff then when I did not have insurance. Give it a try, it can\'t hurt, they have put you off long enough.
