Wow it's been a long time....
Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote my last entry, but things were going well until last Sunday (Easter). The girl that lives in the suite under us had some "friends and family" over to celebrate Easter. We have a security camera at our back door, front door and living room and they are used for security only! We have the one at the back door because my husband stores his ladders for his work in the backyard and they are very expensive ladders. So at some point that evening "someone" from the "friends and family" that the girl downstairs had over thought it would be funny to tape a piece of paper to our back camera. We didn't notice it until the next morning, and my husband FLIPPED out!! He banged on the door of the girl downstairs, and personally I think he scared her, because he can get really wild when he gets MAD!! So needless to say he took it too far, and she blames me for it...as if I had any control over what my husband does??!! Now she says she will not talk to me because I am living with a psychotic person, which I don't agree with but that is her opinion. It's just a shame that I had to lose a friend because of something my husband brought on...
So that is what is going on in my life right now....how about you??

bay, What did the note say?
I\'m sorry you had to go through this. I recall problems with that neighbor from the past. You had become friends with her?
So stressful. Big hugs.
Kris, there was NO NOTE, just a white piece of paper taped with masking tape onto one of our cameras!!the way we figure it out is this.... Have you ever heard the phrase \"Those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing\"? It says a lot!! We had a little falling out in the Fall, but I thought that was all dealt with...
And yes, we had become friends over the summer...\"some friend, huh??\"
If they cant have people over that respect your property then they aren\'t worth having as friends. I would be making sure nothing is missing. I don\'t blame your hubby for confronting her. What her or her company did was wrong
What they did was very rude--at the least. Yes, some friend if she had anything to do with it. It\'s backstabbing.
My husband and i watched the girl from downstairs and her \"friends and/or family\" and the all watched the guy do it AND NOBODY DID ANYTHING TO STOP HIM!! Then she has the nerve to message me and say a whole bunch of mean and nasty comments about me and my \"PSYCHOTIC husband\". Then she had the nerve to apologize to me saying that she was just lashing out at me because her kids are afraid to come home (from their grandparents), because of the \"monster\" (my husband) upstairs.
I said thanks for the apology, but some of what she said was really mean and nasty (i won\'t get into it here) and it really hurt my feelings!! I thought she needed to know that!!
And ya what the guy did was just plain rude, i agree!!
Well, bay, this is not your fault. Your husband may have over-reacted or he may not have, but, either way, her friends did something mean and insulting to both of you.
You don\'t need a fight with neighbors, but I would not feel very good about her unless she apologizes. Otherwise, I\'d just keep my distance from now on.
Yes Kris, i agree with you, i don\'t like fighting with neighbours but the thing that makes me REALLY MAD is that everyone (friends/family) watched this guy do this and NOBODY SAID ANYTHING TO HIM!!
I am keeping my distance from her until we find a new place to live, which isn\'t easy because we have 2 dogs and a lot of places won\'t accept dogs!!
I think you are on the right path. Keep looking for a place to move and eventually, you will find something. If your neighbor didn\'t see fit to say anything to her rude friends, she is not much of a friend to you.
I agree, like I always say \" if you have friends like that, who needs enemies?\". We are looking for something ASAP, but our city is very low on affordable housing!!
