WOW....has been awhile
Well I have been busy the last couple of weeks to put it mildly. Trying to raise 2 little kids on my won most of the time is a handful for this ole lady! LOL My hubby is very good about helping out on the weekends,etc but during the week he is either gone or sleeping for work. He still trie to help what he can during the week though!
My son showed up on Fri 11/15 and watched his daughter all day while I worked and then some. Of course, they spent most of the time sleeping..but oh well. He also took her to her Kan Be Healthy checkup this week plus made the Early Head Start Home visit plus the WIC appointment and got her 6 month shots! He also brought me a very badly needed case of diapers for the little poo butt! LOL
Outside of feeling ran down and exhausted not too bad most of the time. Trying to carry the little one in and out of the house in the car seat just about kills my poor back though. She is up to 18.5 lbs and is 24 inches long so finally growing like a wild weed! She is pretty sweet most of teh time but BOY she will let you know when she is unhappy,etc.
The 6 yr old is slowly getting used to papa being gone I think. Maybe on the other hand, that is why she is being so mean and hateful lately too! She is calling kids names, not listening, sticking her tongue out at kids,etc...causing general upset at home, school, and city park. So although she is not being SUPER MEAN .... it is enough to cause problems. Outside of her behavior she is doing pretty good at school for the most part which is good. She is going to have some changes to her schedule that she has asked for come December.
My back and hip joints hurt a lot and not much I can do as I am out of the pain medicines. I might be able to get some from my GP but I can't afford to go see him right now without insurance either. UGH!!
The next few days are going to be exciting, nerve wracking, hyper, busy ones as our Supreme Queen comes to our Temple for the yearly visit. The lady that will be SQ next year, which will be my SQ, is also coming along! I hear we have other visitors coming to our visit as well. This year's SQ is very dearly loved by the ladies. She can be a strict & tough gal when needed but she is so polite, loving, caring,etc. You just want to try to have everything right for her, if you know what I mean.
Well bed time as the next 2-3 days will be killers. I am going to try to rest on Monday afternoon before the formal dinner and ceremony. Hopefully, I can survive and get home safely and then have most of Tuesday to collapse, rest,recoup, and regroup. Glad I will only have 3 days of work this week and 2 next week!
