Wow! feeling overwhelmed

A couple from a neighboring state were traveling to a vacation resort about 20 minutes away from our health center. The wife quietly slumped over in the car. The husband saw the sign for our health center and pulled in. A code blue was called and my team rushed to the parking lot with emergency equipment. She was only 65, just retired, and on the way to a vacation. She appeared to be having a stroke, full right sided paralysis and no detectable pulse or blood pressure in her right arm. We were able to stabilize her until an ambulance arrived. It was a pretty afternoon and they were headed to the beach. Her life changed just like that, in an instant. Feeling pretty overwhelmed by the thought that life indeed is too short and changes need to happen today. I am not guaranteed tomorrow, or next week, or next year.
