Wow, 5 months
Hmmm.....lets see now. I've had carpal tunnel release on both wrists and the middle and 3rd trigger finger release on both hands. It's weird not to have the constant issues and I am gaining strength in both hands which is Amazing!
Still waiting for disability hearing. WTH, I just can't believe that it really takes that much time and effort for someone who has never met me to decide my functionality. (is that a word?)
I am still married, to the same husband. We seem to be getting along better, Thank You Jesus! Probably good I've no income or I would have left him and moved to Oregon.
I still might leave him and move to Oregon, but first I need an income.
My sweet dog Midge is still untrained, my fault not hers. She's just such a sweet girl! I am grooming her myself now and not doing a bad job at it. I hate clipping her nails. I made two of them bleed today and I use that little freakin' guard. I seriously have to take a Xanax before I start. Then I have to take a Xanax when I finish and give her some cheese. She lives for cheese.
I took a creative writing course. It was super interesting. Very unconventional, not at all what I was expecting and I sure enjoyed it. Four of us get together one evening a month now. It's very healing on so many levels.
What else, oh yea, I've gone back to church. It's been a long time. I feel like a foreigner and feel like I'm coming home at the same time. I've only missed one Sunday since Jan. 1. I have even considered getting involved again. I use to do Eucharistic Ministry, Catechism, Lecturing, Altar Serving, facilitated retreats and even have made drapes for the Altar. Went from all in to nothing. I'm a weird one I am.
I miss my people here, though so many have left I thought I'd check in.

I can almost feel how happy our Lord is to have you come back into his circle of life. It\'s good to read the positive effect it\'s having on you.
I\'ve never had carpal tunnel but my sister did on wrist & she had it taken care of & said it just made such a marvelous difference so this was truly good to read.
You know I think with pets, nail clipping is the one thing I don\'t like having to do either. With our cat, Angel, hubby has to hold securely & I do the manicure & pedicure but she\'s not always too happy abt it. I betcha you\'ve now got yourself the best looking pooch around with all the pampering.
church is great and i\'m glad to hear you are back. its the ONE THING in civilization that remains the same and familiar and uses the same words permanently. its a comfort for that alone. i mostly just go to fellowship things with church and even that helps. no attitudes there so its always good. amazes me anytime you have someone at a church who has an attitude of any sort its like, are you satan? lol. my friend goes to hear homilies, she used to be very involved as well, i may start doing that part.
you sound good. glad you are enjoying creative writing. hope you get income soon so you can return to oregon. xxoo
