Dearest,
Yesterday I tried to write to you in a more uplifting tone and decided to try to be inspirational. Don't you know I inspired myself? I couldn't believe it, I felt so much better. It's like trying to help some one else and you end up helping yourself. I should write a book, another one. Eww just had an evil thought. I bet I could get it published using your friends sympathy. A "pity publication". That would be bad. I should do it. I have never been known for my fine moral character. I mean yes, I know right from wrong, I'm not in politics, but I've still been known to do the wrong thing. On purpose, from time to time. All right, all right I can hear the lecture even now. You always were the conscience around here. It's like having my very own ghostly Jiminy Cricket, lord knows my nose is big enough.
It's supposed to start snowing tomorrow, they won't say when it will end. Something more than six inches predicted. Oh, fun!! I blame you! I think you have something to do with all this snow. The world has become a colder place since you departed. Before I get all sad and depressed I guess I should call it a night and try to get some sleep.

Tell me about the 1st. book. Title, content, etc... and now what will the second book be about? I am writing a cook book; or I should I have been writing a cook book for sometime now and got derailed as of late... perhaps I should inspire myself to pick it back up.

That is exactly why I started doing this journaling thing. At first, I rarely wrote in my journal. But somewhere down the road, I began to realize it really did help to get this stuff down on paper (well, screen I guess). It is strange, I write about the good stuff and it makes me feel better, but writing about the bad stuff also makes it better.
And yes, as everyone else wants to know - BOOK? Tell us more....
Got snow here from Thursday into Friday, went out a little bit ago to shovel it. Fell on my back side. Not a pretty sight, so be careful when you go to clean up. Take it easy and have a beter week end. Hugs Jane
Book! It was never published, and another was never finished. The finished one seems so sad and silly now, I was so much younger then, small hurts seemed so much more intense.
