Worrying about my daughter

My poor 28 year old daughter and mother of my two beautiful granddaughters was diagnosed with shingles yesterday and it has moved into her left eye.  They had to get her in to see an eye doctor immediately yesterday for possible treatment because shingles in the eye can lead to blindness.  The eye doctor gave her some medications and told her that her eye should heal just fine as long as she takes the medications on time every day. She is already having the pain that is associated with shingles.  Her whole side of her face hurts and is swollen. They gave her some Vicodan for pain and pharmacist told her that it would only help ease the pain but not take it away. As a parent, none of us ever wants any of our children to be in pain or sick so until she is over the worse part of this then I am going to continue to worry about her.

Skeeterelf The Parkinson\'s Unity Walk in NYC central park was a huge success. We had 50 walkers on our team and raised Over$28,000.00 USD which makes us top 4 out of over 100 teams. I think the local news which told me they don\'t cover events in NYC will now take interest in our local support group. We will see.
