World's Most Evil Stepmother

Ready to read a lot and help…even a little??? Here you go:
My stepmother!!!! (My real mother passed when I was less than 1 year old) She is a piece of work! She is legally blind, paralyzed, and has dementia, thus resides in skilled care which is 36 miles away, one way. I go to see her at least weekly, would go daily but she is NEVER nice! I try and think it is her health, but guess what? She has never been nice to me! The people in her facility who are not even related to me are more glad to see me than she ever is, and some of them are even worse off…missing limbs, etc….On top of that, I am stuck paying her life insurance premium (about 85.00 per month) and supporting her habit of dipping snuff (about 50.00 per week)!! If anyone only knew the thousands of bad things she did to me and even worse, to my father, ever since she disrupted our lives whenever I was 4 years old, they would ask why I even bothered?? She is jealous of me and my female friends????!!!! When I started dating as a teenager, she hated every girl I brought home…..until we broke up---then she would go behind my back, befriend them, and talk pure junk about me to them! They told me, as all splits were amicable, but one. I even have recordings of her running me in the dirt!!! She is a very mean, evil, wicked, hateful person! I have tried since I was 4 years of age to just have one day in which I “got along” with her….that day has never happened yet! And get this, her own family disowned her many years ago, due to her hateful attitude! I am her only visitor and all she cares is if I bring her snuff to her. She complains and grumbles daily! Nothing is or has, or will ever be good enough for her. All of this was a problem before her health declined…in fact, her attitude has actually “improved” since admission to the facility!
When my father passed, (in 2007) that was it for me. I almost committed suicide—and I still struggle with that. He was my best friend! We did everything together. It is sad to say, but true, the only peace he and I ever saw from 1972 until 2004, was when my stepmother entered skilled care (in 2004) and I lived with him then. She would not even attend my father’s funeral….she shed about three “crocodile tears” when he passed and that was it!!! After 35 years of living with this demon possessed woman…my father was worth 3 fake tears to her……..
When I was about 8 years old, a church was built near me, which I started attending regularly. But each time I returned from church, there was my stepmother, criticizing me and putting me down. She never wanted me to excel at anything! When I graduated high school and each college graduation, she still would find something critical to say about it. (She never attended any of my commencements either.) I was married 7 years, my stepmother broke that up with her lies, deceit, and back-biting behaviors. (she did not attend my wedding either.)
When I rededicated my life to the LORD, almost 4 years ago, I made the mistake of telling her…..WRONG THING TO DO! Now, since then, every time I go to see her, within 45 seconds she will say, “You ain”t no Christian! You ain’t saved!” I go to see her out of pity, as it does break my heart that she is in the shape she is, but I can only tolerate her for about 10 minutes, and that is a stretch! She also has this habit of talking bad about my deceased father who was nothing but good to her. I see guys who I went to school with, who have been in prison, on drugs, etc….their parents and step parents even, just love them!!! My stepmother once went around saying I was on drugs to relatives and neighbors…bare in mind, my jobs have always did random and mandatory testings. So when I learned of this, as people loved my father and liked me…I shut her up quick! I threatened a lawsuit for character defamation!! I then had her get in my car and I drove to each person’s house whom she had lied on me to one Saturday and made her admit that she had lied on me! After about 2 houses, she wanted to quit…but guess what?? We kept going! I have never even had a parking ticket and she wanted to ruin my name! I was stuck with the most unpleasant person ever for a stepmother. When I was in my 20’s, I begged my father (in private) to leave her and move in with me.
I worry about her salvation, but each time I mention Jesus to her, she snaps at me, “You ain’t no angel!” I do not understand why me or my father was subjected to her. I can think of not one thing positive she did in our lives?? Each day was her grumbling, cursing, being ill, and hateful. My father and I did the housework, while she watched soap operas and visited her relatives where she was about as welcomed as matches in a firework factory. You know, if she had abused me physically, that would have hurt…I would have grown up to where she could no longer do it…but her mental abuse….I fear has adversely impacted me for life! She is toxic!!!

My heart goes out to you xoxo.
My children have had a step mother for 15 years. They were 8 & 6 when she moved into their lives. She moved into their fathers home on the same day they moved into it. We had agreed to share the care of the kids 50/50 before I realised that he was going to hand his 50% responsibilty for their care to another woman. I tried to get the kids back with me but no lawyer seemed to think i had a chance. From the very start she assumed complete control. She cut off contact with me and began her dictatorship. She would not speak to me but instead told the children she was now incharge and they were expected to refer to her on all matters and I was to be disregarded. My little kids would come home to me and inocently tell me the new rules. they even expected me to follow these new rules. I couldnt make a desicion regarding their education or health or anything with out my own children consulting their step mother.
as my daughter got little bit older she started to realise the SM was jelouse of her. She stopped the affection between my daughter and her dad. She also excluded her in social situations. She dominatated, interfered, critisised, judged, manipulated and dissmissed her. The difference for my daughter is that she still had her mother. At 15 my daughter finally decided to move in with me fulltime. My daughter is 23 now with a lovely partner and wonderful child of her own. My 21 yld son is another matter. He lives fulltime with his father stepmother and 3 little sisters.
So anyway I just wanted to let you know that I have alot of experiences in dealing with evil stepmonsters. and if you need to vent or want to swap stories Im here for you! xoxo
