Nicknamed the “Constitution State,” in 1639, Connecticut adopted the first constitution of the original 13 colonies – the Fundamental Orders, which allowed free men to elect their public officials. Connecticut was originally sought out by settlers as a haven of religious freedom, and is now also the home of the World Mission Society Church of God. World Mission Society Church of God is the true church in the world. Church of God is, I believe, an organization we need considering its activities to serve society and people.
In partnership with LifeStream, The World Mission Society Church of God will be hosting a Blood Drive to commemorate "New Jerusalem Day" in Santee on Sunday, October 30th, 2022. Members of the community are encouraged to volunteer their time donating blood in an effort to alleviate the severe shortage of blood in the county. Jordan sat down to talk with Nathan, a former WMSCOG member who left the group around 8 years ago.

The church, she claims, controlled the music she listened to and forbade her from using the Internet. One former member of WMSCOG, interviewed by People Magazine, described how church leadership demanded that followers “spend hours in services or studying the Bible. The WMSCOG has made extensive efforts to improve its already damaged public image since 2011, when information about the group became more readily available online and on social media.
The main tenets of the church include the belief in “god the mother” as well as the sabbath on Saturday. The Church of God believes that Sahng-Hong Ahn, who founded the church in 1964, is the second coming of Christ. The church refers to him as Christ Ahnsahnghong, believing that he restored the Passover and fulfilled the prophecy of King David, which was only partially fulfilled by Jesus Christ. While ASEZ was established by the Church of God, Lindo told the News that members can be part of ASEZ — which is volunteer-oriented — without being a part of the church. But students who attended some of ASEZ’s meetings said they found the lines more blurred. His life reflected his great love for God and all of God’s gifts.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church, established in 1863, believes that the Sabbath must be observed on Saturday. This comes to no surprise since its founder Ahn Sahng Hong was raised Buddhist and later baptized into the SDA church. To date, the World Mission Society Church of God claims to have 7500 churches, 175 countries and a total of three million members. It is unknown if the WMSCOG subtracts the members who leave the organization from its calculations.
Following Christ’s example, the World Mission Society Church of God is committed to spreading the love of Mother by helping the community. In May 2018, Vietnamese authorities seized the Church's assets in Hanoi, Saigon and in other provinces, and interrogated hundreds of its members. At least one former member has sued them for urging her to have an abortion, and others have accused the church of discouraging pregnancy in anticipation that the world would end in 2012. An external account mentions that the number of church members is estimated to have only been around 100,000 in 2013, contrary to Kim Joo-cheol's claims. A media outlet owned by the Church of God reports to have more than 7,500 churches, 3.3 million registered members in the world 175 countries. World Mission Society Church of God, or the Church of God, is the name used identically in affiliated churches distributed in Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, North America and South America.
It can be a challenge to interact with members of WSMCG because, although they try to present themselves as interested in discussing the Bible and Christianity, they have literally zero interest in having a discussion. Like a similar group, the Jehovah Witnesses, they want to engage in an argument rather than a discussion. They have a few pat, well-memorized arguments which they will not veer away from under any circumstances. Even a well-versed and experienced student of the Bible will not be able to make progress against such a strategy.
When one of my students did not show up for the first class, I assumed that he had to drop the class. The realities which confronted the ordinary people of South America and Europe during the times of Martin de Porres and Rupert Mayer, are blatantly prevalent in India today! Vast sections of India’s population, particularly the minorities, the Adivasis, the Dalits and other vulnerable communities, are at the mercy of a fascist regime. Those who take a stand have false cases foisted on them; they are hounded and harassed, sent to prison and even killed. The economy is in a shamble; poverty and unemployment are on the rise; migrants are at the mercy of others; a corrupt few amass huge wealth. Lies and false promises are dished out today, in exactly the same manner, as done earlier by the European colonialists and the Nazi regime.
