working through it
Feeling a bit better - even though I still been having some bad moments, it's getting better every day. I have never been publicly humiliated like that in my life ( about 170 people) and then to be ignored by the person that supported me - was just so upsetting that I had to do something to get through this.
Well, I believe that God works in mysterious ways and the timing of all the messages I've been receiving, lately, is NOT coincidental. I belong to two religious groups (long story) and both have and are really helping me to work through this. And I also received some very timely emails from a dear friend of mine that spoke to me in a way that I know it came from above.
I also do believe that good things do come from bad and even though it was an awful experience - I know I'll emerge as a much better person. Much to reflect on - much to pray about - and much to silence my head about too.
So - for now - I will quiet my head and heart and allow the Holy Spirit to work through me. Prior to this - I thought it was the case but now, reflecting back, I think I was "running the show" more than I should have been.
UPDATE: GUESS THE PROGRAM WAS A LOT BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. HEARD FROM THE MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL. He said the program was excellent despite the technical difficulties. He also said that a parent called him and told him that after our presentation - she talked to her son for 2 hours. Even though I was bothered by what happened - I know that there was a reason for it. For one: it humbled me.
