Working from home.....
Working from home for a couple of days. We have taken an astonishing 122 emergencies in 5 days and I'm shot, I can tell you. My boss, Gary, who is the MD told me to go home and take a couple of days off. I told him I needed to take work home with me and take it easy. He agreed to that.
Feeling a little more rested as there's no heightened environment. Just plodding along, doing my work. Excellent.
Had no panic attacks. Says something, doesnt it? In fact, I feel great. Think I need some therapy regarding my trigger which is clearly the scene of the crime, my office. I dealt with the car problem by getting rid of it. Problem is, I love my job. I'm not getting rid of that.
Yes, much better. Losing weight. Still smoke free.
Positive and the right direction. Chest pain is decreasing, too. No more aches and pains. Just a twinge every so often.
Love and prayers,
Alli

Alli, You are doing great. As far as taking work home? I am not sure about that. Work is work and rest is rest. A good balance seems prudent here but only you know where to strike that balance. Good onya bout the smokes. Doing fine there and it gets easier too doesn\'t it?
Proud of you Alli. You have come a long way.
Love you,
Just Joe
Thank you, Joe. And how are you? Are you settled into a new place yet? I hope you are. You deserve, at the very least, a home.

Hi Alli,
That seems like a good compromise, that you were able to work from home for a few days. What do you do for work? What kind of emergencies does your team handle? Regarding you stress reaction associated with your workplace, you can look for a hypnotherapist and/or one who does brief cognitive behavioral therapy for trauma. They\'re likely to be able to help you pretty quickly.
It sounds like overall you\'re doing really well, and I wish you continued success. Sue
Oh my goodness, thank you Sue. We specialise in flood and fire restoration. When the pipes freeze up, all hell breaks loose! Many people in peril and we need to help them out. I have technicians that I have to despatch and deal with the situations. Yes, it\'s all high pressure but I love it. I\'m thinking of CBT because since ive been working from home - Guess what? No panic attacks! It\'s all the scene of the crime as you so succinctly put it.
Got to get a grip...
