worked on backsplash today... in kitchen

I started the new backsplash in the kitchen today. I am doing just a small section at a time. I really like it. I know it's probably not the best durability and it might be better if I used a glue gun and liquid nails so I can get a good heavy coat on the back. 

I'm not sure if we have a glue gun... will have to ask hubbie. It is turning out pretty nice. I'm pleased. I know it's not going to last sixty years like the backsplash that is on there now. But I am loving the change.

The floors will be started on July 16 and then I can get my girl to help me sand and start on the kitchen cabinets. They are going to be white. And it's going to be a process... but she is such a hard hard worker. I think she would be GREAT at flipping houses. OMG. She is such a hard worker. I've never seen anything like her. She could flip houses ... I could buy them and she do the work. and we flip them. Hmmm
