My H sent this to me yesterday and I wanted to share it with all of you.  I know my H especially forgets that there are ups and downs in a relationship and expects it to always be good; not as much since the A.  I think by thinking that way, it's harder to get over those low points and it hits you harder.  I think for myself since talking with all of you and going through the A, I realize there are ups and downs and the downs are not an end all.  Prior to the A I didn't have Sarah Jessica Parker's insight I thought just like my H that as long as all appeared to be good and then we were good for the long haul except that  I also thought we had to discuss our issues.  Not resolve them but talk about them.  This is where it all started, my discussing it brought problems front and center and my H didn't want to admit or face them and I didn't follow through with finding a solution to them.
After reading this and having my H send this to me I have a glimmer of hope that he may be getting it especially after yesterday.
