Woo Hoo!

I FINALLY broke up with my boyfriend after worrying about it for a year.  We came to the decision together,  He's 40 and has 2 kids and wants no more.  I am 27 and want a family of my own.  It was hard to do but I feel it'll be better in the end.

Sorry you have to go through this but if you want kids go for it. Maybe he will change his mind? Good luck and know that I am here if you need to talk. I was always told I could not have kids and when I married my husband I told him of this and we agreed that it was ok and lo and behold we have been married 22 years and our son is off to college next week. It was a SHOCK and we were not ready but I am so glad it came to pass so I believe everyone deserves a chance to have the experience!

It is a good time to move on. You have to be with someone who wants the same things in life that you do. And he really does too - so all for the best.

I once dated a guy who was 21 when I was 30. he thought I was around 25 and I thought he was around 27. I had 3 children and couldnt have anymore. he kept saying we could adopt. He wanted it to work so bad and I did love him a lot but....
I remember the first time his mom found out about me and he invited me to a family function, I told him it wouldnt be pretty but he insisted. His mother once she found out I had three sons, told him to never bring me around.
We sat out in my car one night and made a list. One side said pros\' and one side said cons. Ended up I loved him to much to stay and take away his future of children and his own family.
I dont know why I am going on and on..I dont even know you! LOL
Anyway, good luck with your journey, I know there is someone out there who will knock your socks off..whatever that means? LOL

It does not matter if you both agree or not, it still hurts the same. I\'m happy the two of you decided to move on, but I\'m sad that you have to hurt, heartache is just no fun. You are young enough to enjoy your own family. Believe me, being a step parent is so very hard, and no matter how hard you try to be a good step parent, there is no other love like that of loving your own children.
You have always had a good head on your shoulders, thats what I like about you. You even had to wait a year to see if it was the right decision when most of us would have made a decision and then wondered the rest of our lives if it was the right one. That, my friend, is smart thinking.
Don\'t worry, sombody will come along who is just right for you. I keep telling myself that every day, so far nothing, but the day is still young. lol
