Wondering how to make ends meet
Title says it all. Went to the Dodge dealership today to try to trade in the Durango and get out of our payment plan and high gas milage. Bad news, they want at LEAST $2000 down and will only do it if we buy a car worth our loan. Also since hubby's job is only 2 month's old and I'm currently unemployed they wouldn't grant us a loan anyway. Also found out hubby's paycheck disappeared into the ether due to a checking advance we had to do. Don't know how we are going to cover rent, utilities and the truck payment. AArrgh! I have a babysitting job tomorrow but all of that is going to go for food since we haven't contributed much to that yet. Thank god for Big Lots being close by. Considering going to the food bank. Could be waiting on unemployment checks for 4-6 weeks since I quit my job in B'ham. And did I mention my checking account is overdrawn and I have no money to balance it out and it is slower growing more and more negative? Aarrgh! Would love a silver lining here but none so far. Sorry about the gloomy journal. Needed to vent.

Venting is what your journal is for!! Come here and vent all you like. I wish I had some answers for you, but I don\'t. We\'re living on credit cards right now. Did I tell you I got my first denial for SSD? Depressing, but expected. I hope you find an answer soon! *HUGS*
I hate money worries, they are so bad. I do hope you find a way to get some part time work and don\'t be too proud to get food stamps if you need them. Keep looking for any jobs and I just hope you find one soon.
Hadn\'t really thought about food stamps, aussie. Will now. Was planning to go the food bank tomorrow but u can only go once a month around here.
