Wonderful day!

Today was such a happy day! I had appointments for individual therapy and the sessions went well. I've also got several leads for some interesting career options which would allow me to continue this type of work, but in a freer setting. I ate the best sub sandwich I ever had in my life, drove through a gorgeous, sunny 60-degree day, and came home to a yard full of kids begging to play with me. My littlest boy refused to let me have a scrap of "rest time" after getting home, telling me, "Daddy, I need you! You need to play with me!" So out I went, and raced on bikes with my 2 sons and their neighborhood fgriend, up and down the street. Plus, my boys still run up and yell "DADDY!!!!!" every time I get out of the car, and tackle me in hugs--every day, without fail.  And I just got a call asking me to take over teaching the Domestic Violence class (again) for the Crime Victims Special Services program at a local university.

It sounds like an amazing day! That is what little boys are for...keeping you on the run!

I hate to spoil your wonderful day! But, was that \"Best Sub Sandwich\" on your diet??? Just kidding!

I am glad you had such a wonderful day! You deserve it!

Matt,

I am glad to hear you had a great day. I would like to know what kind of sub you ate and where it was from. I know you will do an awesome job whatever you select. I hope you can have the good fortune of following your passion although I hope you can continue to be a therapist because you are so good at it. I also remember when my kids were little and so excited to see me. They sure make you forget about the downs in life and put life in perspective

*do do do* doing the happy dance.
Take it all in, write photograph and enjoy every bit, if you don\'t, you blink and they are all grown up and ask where were.............. you and your child within will always be reaching out for something that was there for you both but was never allowed to develop.
Depending on how you look at it, it is like xmas/new year all in each day..........pretty exhausting but can\'t be done any other way.
Glad you day was wonderful, i am so happy that things are falling into place...............it\'s in \'the attitude\'
*who hoo hoo*
cheers.

The sub was a Chipotle Cheesesteak form Jersey Mikes. Which is what I had for lunch again today--heh heh!

Also, after finishing an individual therapy appointment today I drove by to drop off a resume at local counseling center. When I walked in, the receptionist said \"I know you!\" She had attended the conference I spoke at in October, and she and her company boss had bought my book. Apparently, they use my book at their work!

Oh, and it was 75 and sunny today, so I drove around with the top down. :)

I am inspired. Joy in the face of trials always inspires me. We have Jersey Mikes here too, but I have never eaten there. Guess I\'ll have to try it:)

Wow - you are really gonna be busy! Well, there is a an old saying (attributed to Lucille Ball), that if you want something done, ask a busy person to do it.
