Wondering?!?

Good Morning to whomever may read this:
Just a quick note here,as I was helping my niece with the planning of her wedding,I noticed that everyone friends and family alike went out of their way to help(which yes was nice).......BUT
Tell them that you are  going thru the process of being seperated/divorced and those same family and friends RUN away from you like you have the plaque or something,my question is WHY????,your the same person you were before the announcement  of divorce so why cant they help and be there for you now....
As i said quick note just wondering is all.
