Wondering..

I have been on the metformin for over a month now and I think itis working some.I am still not seeing the AM numbers come down.Dr wants them below 140 and I am not there yet.Wondering if come January he will add more.Taking 1000 a day now
However I did eat spaghetti last night which always sends my sugars up.Last time I ate it was before Metformin and my after dinner was 216.This time i ate it and I also switched to a 100% whole wheat pasta and my 2 hour after BS was 154....I was very excited by that.My Dr says my BS should be below 180...
Maybe I am making progress...Time will tell I suppose..

Dont be discouraged, I have rarely gotten my fasting blood glucose under 140. Yet, I follow my diet and I walk, and overall as you know my A1C is lower than it has been in the last 6 years. This is a life long process, so I don\'t feel guilty when I \"cheat\" on my diet, as long as it is now too often. It will work for you.

I guess because i was told to start the medicine back in June and I dont like meds and I thought I could just do it on my own,so when I decided to take it I guess I just expected it to work right away.I go back and forth.I know its probably going to be a life long process but at the same time to be quite honest it pisses me off....lol And other times I feel like if this is the worst that I have to deal with in life I should be grateful....

Anyway thank you...
