Woke up too early!

Easter was great!  Hope the same for everyone else!   Kissed my husband as he headed out the door for work this morning.  Then flopped back in bed.  A minute later my dog slams herself at sliding door to get my attention and she hasn't given up yet!  So I guess I'm awake now! LOL!  My husband found a family with another doberman and they may want the one we have.   I told my husband it isn't fair that she is alone so much. The other family are supposed to come by today to see our dog.  If they  think she is ok for their son, they will take her.  And from what my husband said about their home and other dog, it will be a good place for her.  I took her for a walk again yesterday and she pulled me even harder than the time before!  And I hesitate to play with her cause she gets too rough and just wants to smack her toys at me and play tug of war! Which is too painful for me.   And ever since my brother got mad at us he hardly does anything with her.  And now he is even mad at the dog!  A few days ago he came home and didn't latch the gate after entering just went straight to the dog to give her a rub!  But she noticed the gate and sped right passed him and ran out!  He chased after her which makes her run further away till she almost ran to highway!  She finally ran back home and into her doghouse.  I heard him yelling huffing as he stomped his way back to the back yard.  I then went to see what all the fuss was and saw him pick up the dog house to dump Ginger out of it!  I was so mad that he would treat an animal like that that i didn't know what to say to him!  But before he could get ahold of her, he realized he left the gate unlatched again and went to latch it before she could do it again.  I got a hold of her first and held and patted her and told her it would be ok cause I wasn't going to let  him touch her!  So my brother comes back toward us and tells me what happened and I tell him never to run after her like that.   And he says fine , he will let her get run over next time!   So you see we need to get her a home where there isn't an idiot living in back yard with a bad temper from his own stupidity!!!!   I would have beat the crap out of him if he had touched her though! When I told my husband about it, all he could say was he will take care of it.  And now he has hopefully found her a safe home.   We will miss her but until we move, we should stay dogless I guess.   I will have to be content with my bird.Well other than that things have been great! My husband has been on day shift for almost a week now and he is getting more sleep and getting paperwork for his business caught up!  I can see the man I married coming back to himself again!  May all my friends here be happy too!  :  )
