With Kit

Kit has come up with a new tactic in the battle for the bed.  When I turn over toward him, he decides to stretch.  Stretching means all 4 paws are pointed at my belly usually and it means his little claws are bared and dig in.  Those little "pins" wake me up.  And its not just when I'm facing him.  I've felt them in the small of my back too.  He still plays dead when I try to move him and even though I know he does it, it still scares me.  We are having a problem.  He has decided the floor behind the recliner is in the back yard and is leaving me surprises in the mornings.  I could teach him not to if I was awake, but I can't feel him get off the bed during the night.  I may have figured out the problem.  He's getting entirely too many treats of bones.  It's real easy to grab 2 or 3 out of one of two boxes(he has 2 kinds) and drop them on the floor(he's not spoiled).  His other treats are saved for good trips to the back yard.  He's eating them instead of his regular food I've noticed.  Didn't give any yesterday(he still has some "buried" around the house) and no surprise this morning.  Time will tell.  I still don't know why my chin is one of his favorite spots, but he makes a mad dash for it when he gets in my lap.  Otherwise, we're having a good time.  Love is grand.
