It looks so lovely and I hate il... lol.... We had a snow last night but it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.... Everything has turned to slush on the sidewalks.... I'm dreading when it freezes.... I wouldn't care if I didn't have to walk my pooch

Beautiful photos though Bob... Lovely property.... xo

Very pretty. It was just a lot of rain for us again in Southern New England. I just finished the cooling system on my all wheel drive Subaru and have new snow tires on so I’m ready for some snow!
Last year we had one 2 inch snow event that I hiked in and it melted by the end of the day lol.
I’m glad you got the pics up and I’ll try to do some myself on a journal. Maybe some flood pics because there’s a lot of that going on.

It snowed again this morning and is suppose to change over to rain which will make driving conditions very slippery. I am not worried about my driving because I trust myself and my car but you have to watch out for the other guy in these conditions so I may stay home today.

@ billwfriend We dress for it up here. The warmest clothing is stuffed with goose down feathers. LL Bean is my go to store for warm winter coats, gloves and other clothing... Very pricey but guaranteed.

@ SunCloudJD I know what you mean. In the summer, I can go outside barefooted with just shorts on when I take out the dogs but in the winter, I have to get all dressed up in my winter cloths.. It's a pain.

@ finallyawakenow Love my subaru. Mine has over 200,000 miles on it and still runs well. Great winter cars, they are. Only time I ever got stuck in one was due to driving through 2 feet of snow.. My next car will be a crosstrek, me thinks. It is higher off the ground.

Very pretty pictures, Bob! I haven't seen that much snow in a while. The last two winters here in southwest Virginia have been essentially snow-free, and our last major winter storm was in 2018. Sure has been cold, though, and I'm with you when it comes to LL Bean. Their sweaters and coats are worth every penny. Stay safe on the roads!

Beautiful. I've seen snow only a couple times here but it's usually just a little. It gets like that I think twice that I've seen.

Bob, beautiful picture and that Old Glory too. We had a good wallop of snow but most of it melted. Now it is snowing again. Oh well, winter weather. Hugs and stay safe. Heard more is on the way for the eastern seaboard.

@ Ladybug7.. That's beautiful country where you live. I did some work down there years ago and I loved the area. The people were incredibly nice. I took back lots of great memories.

@ billwfriend When I go to LLBean, I like to go to the main store in Freeport. It's also a big tourist attraction.

@ Nutin_Special You need to see alot of snow at least once in your life. You can ski in it or go sledding or make snow angels or build a snowman or have a snowball fight...Snow can be alot of fun but it can also be a drag when we have to shovel it but we take the bad with the good.

@ Atpeacemary I planted those fir trees 30 years ago and they have grown very tall. I use to be able to see the street from my kitchen window but I can't anymore.....It snowed this morning quite heavily but then it turned to sleet which eventually turned to rain. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things and there was some flooding in the streets but they were all passable.

Love the pics Bob....beautiful to look at, buttaaaaaaa....my days of sledding and ice skating are behind me, despite still having skates! In CT when I was a kid I'd sled all day, ice skate on the Niantic River...yup, froze so deep my friends and I would build a bon fire and drink hot chocolate using a flood light for night skating...I was Blessed to grow up where I did!

Now, the temp is in high 30' to high 40's which is climate change Big Time! No snowfall to any degree this year, flurries and maybe two inches that were gone the next day with rain.

Bobinmaine, we got a lot of snow about 3 years ago and it was fun. I plan on going places in the country when I'm older but here is always home.
