Winter Solstice

This is one of my favorite days of the year.  I have studied Astronomy since I was eight.  I still have my first star book that my father bought me at the Grand Canyon.  It was August and the Leonid meteor shower was in full effect, my father got tired of me asking, "what is that, and what is that".
