Winter season settling in. Post office adventure, Winterstorm coming, and gearing up for baking! :)

WINTERY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY!!! oh my! Warm cozy friendship hugs, and winter greetings, from CT! :) my family and i are keeping warm, and are ready to ride out the big snowstorm that has been moving into our area. We got a chance to go out this morning early, to the post office, for our 1st post office adventure of the new year :) it went really well :) i had social interaction, and public speaking :) We mailed a nice treasures package :) i'm very happy and excited about the nice treasures we mailed, and also about the nice letters and cards i'm gonna be writing over the course of the week :) it's nice, keeping cozy warm indoors, putting some decorative lamps on, and keeping warm :) they say it's gonna be -10 degrees here tomorrow into saturday, with possible -20 to -30 windchill temps! wow! i made sure i put lots of extra goodies outside for our nature animal friends :) god bless their hearts. We're keeping everyone in our thoughts, and prayers, who are in the path of the severe wintery weather, and cold weather. We saw snowplows all over the place on our way to the post office. they were salting the roads, putting lots of salt down. i'm gonna make a video, and take pictures of the snowfall. Tomorrow will be the perfect day, for our 1st baking friday adventure of the season :) We're baking a cheese and broccoli pizza, and also going to be baking peanut butter blossoms cookies :) the cozy warm kitchen will feel very nice tomorrow :) We're thinking of everyone, and so happy to hear about your holidays, and new years celebrations :) the new year, is beginning very nicely :) We're getting into the grove of the new year :) i cooked a healthy lunch today, and put a movie on this afternoon, and enjoying some time here on ds :) is it spring time yet? :) awww! :) sunflower smiles, from my heart to yours :) tomorrow's baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's almost time to bake! bake! bake! :)
A VERY SPECIAL DELIVERY! :) WARM COZY FRIENDSHIP HUGS :) awww! :) my family and i hope and pray, that everyone is doing well, and keeping warm, and ready for the winterstorm. New England, and surrounding areas, are preparing for, and recieving big winterstorm. We've been watching the weather updates, they are calling for up to 10 inches of snow here, with strong winds, and possible record breaking cold temperatures in the upcoming days, including windchills -20-30 degrees below 0! i can't imagine how cold that air is gonna be tomorrow and saturday morning. -7, is coldest air i've ever felt, and tomorrow it's gonna be very interesting to see how much snow we get. We've been thinking of everyone who's in the path of the snowstorm, as it will be affecting many states. We hope everyone is keeping warm, and staying indoors, and hopefully power won't go out. its expected to be our 1st snowstorm of 2014, and the winter season. i'm gonna be making a video, and taking pictures this evening, and tomorrow, to share with everyone :)
Earlier today, i was talking with my mom and Lisa, about how tomorrow will be the perfect day, to get the kitchen cozy warm, for a wonderful new year themed baking friday adventure :) broccoli pizza, and peanut butter cookies :) there's something very magical about this time, of the new year, with winter here, and knowing snowfall is on it's way, it brings an excitement, and anticipation too :) i bundled up for my early morning nature walk this morning :) i wanted to put lots of goodies outside, for our nature animal friends :) they've been gathering goodies today. :) i wore my winter hat, plus my coat hood, and gloves :) we had recieved a dusting of snowfall, overnight. schools were surprisingly still scheduled for today, but with early dismissal, and most likely, schools will be closed tomorrow. Kayla, Taylynn, Mikey, and i look forward to baking goodies tomorrow, sharing our adventure, and also sharing about the big snowstorm, with pictures, and a video :)
my family and i hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful new years holiday :) We were thinking of you all often yesterday, and all throughout the holiday season :) You all are wonderful friends :) We thank you all again, for our lovely happy new years wishes :) it was such a peaceful day, ringing in the new year, with a nice new years holiday lunch, lots of time with family, friends :) it was a really nice, sweet day, and a wonderful start to 2014 :) We enjoyed our lunch yesterday, all of the yummy foods, were so nice, and a pure joy to enjoy, especially on new years holiday :) We're enjoying a great time, hearing about friends holidays, and times shared, with new years :) it's so much fun, getting to share, and wishing eachother a happy new year :)
The new year is beginning nicely, and today, my mom and i enjoyed our first, SUPER FUN, AND SUPER SWEET, POST OFFICE ADVENTURE OF 2014 :) The very 1st of many, post office adventures, and experiences we'll get to enjoy throughout the year :) i've been putting together a nice happy birthday treasures package, for our dear and lovely friend Deb (Stardust) :) her birthday is coming up soon :) i've also been enjoying some time here in my new year writing area, writing some letters, and gearing up to dwelve my spirits into some wonderful thank you card writings, over the course of the week :) i want to write a special thank you card to everyone, for making our holiday season very special, and magical :) it was such a joy, to celebrate together, and all of the great memories being made, will be so nice to be able to reflect upon, as i write these special cards i'll begin to mail next week, with letters :)
i love getting into my writings :) during winter season, i get very deep spirited about the season, and writing :) i love to write, and i'm so happy, and thankful to have my writing area :) it looks so nice, and all set, for a wonderful new year of writing :) This morning, i sealed treasures package, addressed it, i also was enjoying some time here on ds, writing to friends :) many of our friends have began to return from their holiday vacations, and it's brought my family and i lots of great joy, to hear about everyone's Christmas holidays, and new years celebrations :) there's many wonderful memories being made, from these times, to always cherish, and treasure :) this morning, was nice relaxing, and peaceful :) i felt very relaxed, focused, calm, and at peace :) all the focus i need, when going to the post office, is focusing on family and friends smiling and smiling, when they recieve their mail :) You all are always right there with us in spirit during all of our adventures, our sweet dear wonderful guardian angel friends :) i love to bring some treasures with me, during our adventures :) We were all set, and ready to rock and roll, and to make our way to the post office! :) our 1st adventure of 2014 :) Post office, HERE WE COME! :)
my mom, Lisa, and i began our adventure :) it's one of those days, where you can definitely tell that snow is coming. it had snowed little bit, but the roads were fairly clear, and we were seeing lots of snowplows all around, they were putting salt down on the roads, in preparations for the winterstorm .here in Connecticut, they've had a tradition over the years, to name winterstorms. if a storm is gonna be over 6 inches of snowfall, they name the storms. this year, they are naming the storms, after Connecticut towns, for the 1st time. we had the winterstorm "Ashford" a couple weeks ago, and now, this storm, they name, "winterstorm Bethany". We were right behind a snowplow, and could see the salt rocks being dropped upon the road. it was pretty neat to see :)
we were enjoying a nice talk, and peaceful car ride to the post office, i always love to see the peaceful pond, malerba's farm, and golf course :) if schools are closed tomorrow, the golf course will be a big destination for people to go sledding :) the pond looks so peaceful, and pure, right now, the water, the peaceful areas of the pond :) it's truly a beautiful and peaceful destination, and nature sanctuary :) We approached closer to the post office, and parked our car. it was a bit busy, but i was feeling nice relaxed, and focused :) my mom and i walked into the post office, and lined up :) i was thinking about all of our nice recent post office adventures, throughout the holidays, and how wonderful it was, mailing Christmas gifts, cards, and treasures :)
The lady at the post office called us up :) my mom and i said good morning, and we wished the post office worker a happy new year :) She wished us a happy new year too :) awww! :) nice social interaction :) i said, "we have a package to mail today" :) i was doing really well :) the social skills i've gained, and have made over the course of our experiences at the post office, have been so nice for me, and have given me lots of great hope, strength, and confidence too :) i always wish you all could see me there in the post office :) You all have helped me make it this far into my therapy :) giving me that hope, strength, and confidence, to keep on keeping on, to keep moving forward, and being in the moments of experiences :) it sure is an amazing and wonderful feeling of freedom from anxiety that once had very much control of me, to the point where i was afraid to talk, and for my voice to be heard, extreme shyness. i've come very far, we all have together, and i think it's so wonderful, this very special blessing, that makes me feel very thankful, to be able to go into places, and to have social interaction :) the foundation of confidence you all have helped me to be able to achieve, is a wonderful gift, and treasure to my heart :) Thank you all so very much! :)
The worker gave me the total for the order, and i handed her the money :) she gave me the change, and receipt :) my mom and i thanked her, and we wished eachother a nice day :) we walked outside, and i felt such a nice sense of joy, and accomplishment :) we love our post office adventures :) We look forward to our dear friend Deb (Stardust) recieving her happy birthday treasures package :) i thanked my mom and Lisa for going to the post office with me :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) We enjoyed a peaceful car ride home :) We were talking about the snowstorm, and how it's gonna be snowing a lot this evening, and tonight, with possible blizzard conditions. it's gonna be very cold in the upcoming days, and definitley very important to take good care, keeping warm, and updated on the storm. we arrived home, and i thanked my mom and Lisa again :)
We're gonna be going to the post office again next wednesday, to mail cards :) i'm going to be writing very special thank you cards, over the course of the week :) i'm also finishing up a nice 3rd letter, to mail :) i'm in the writing zone! :) Whooo! :) i love it! :) it's gonna be so nice, many more post office adventures all throughout 2014 :) Thank you all so very much, for your amazing love, care, support, guidance, encouragement, and for believing in me, and having faith in me :) i deeply appreciate everything, with all of my heart, and i'm with you all, all the way! :) We'll be going to the post office again very soon :) Sending lots and lots of love, and happy friendship smiles, across the miles, from our home to yours :) i'm very excited, about installing my new printer soon too, so that i will be able to print pictures, to send to friends :) it's gonna be a wonderful joy to be able to do this, this new year, with my nice new printer, i recieved for Christmas :) i'll get lots of nice use, and enjoyment, from the printer :)

DC (DCUK) sent us, a beautiful Merry Christmas card :) She's amazing with her crafts :) There's a nice snowman design, that's so festive, and sweet on the front of the card, and a lovely sign, that says Merry Christmas :) inside the card, DC wrote us a lovely note, wishing my family and i a Merry Christmas, and also included a cute and adorable snowman poem :) awww! :) this is awesome!!! :) DC created a wonderful decorative for me, it's for our baking friday adventures :) it's a decorative that says, "head-chef, bottle washer", and shows a chef, a trophy, and also a cupcake, and it says my name on the decorative :) Awww! :) i'm going to display this nice decorative in our kitchen, for baking friday :) DC also sent us, 2 lovely snowman decoratives she created for us :) they are so nice, they are ornaments, with a silver bell on each one :) her creativity is amazing :) these lovely ornaments will always be a wonderful part of our Christmas decorations each year :) i love decorating my DS Christmas tree :)
DC also sent Kayla and Taylynn, a wonderful bracelet and necklace, with decorative charms :) awww! :) wow! :) Kayla and Taylynn were so excited, and smiling when they opened their gifts :) they said, "Thanks!" :) they love jewelry, and are already wearing their nice necklace, and bracelet :) This is very special, sharing smiles, and wonderful times, that makes the season magical :) Together, we're with eachother in spirit :) DC also sent us, wonderful hot mats, for our baking and cooking adventures :) these are so nice, they are blue hot mats :) We get lots of nice use, from our baking supplies :) We're so happy! :) DC mentioned to me recently, that she's began to collect some nice decorative napkins, for the seasons, and holidays :) She sent us a wonderful variety of holiday napkins :) Snowman, santa claus, and many more :) wow! :) these are so cool! :) i love napkins too, i collect them, and will include these lovely decorative napkins as a special part of my Christmas town each year :) this is wonderful! :) DC sent us some lovely stickers too, that we'll get to share :) the stickers are space/rocket shipped themed :) We collect stickers, i love to put some stickers around my computer monitor, and i also put stickers on cards, and envelopes :) this is very sweet, and generous of DC, to send us these lovely gifts, and treasures :) Kayla, Taylynn, and i, and our family love them, and will always love, cherish, and treasure them :) DC, my family and i thank you so very much, and are looking forward to your return online :) We're thinking of you, and sending lots and lots of love, and happy friendship smiles, across the miles, from our home to yours :) We deeply appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of our hearts :)
We're enjoying a nice day :) my family and i are doing well, keeping warm, and are in good spirits :) my dad got the snowblower ready :) he loves using the snowblowers, especially after winterstorms. back in February 2003, we had a huge nor'easter snowstorm here, and channel 3 news, WFSB came on our street, and interviewed my dad, it was awesome to see him on the 11pm news :) Today for lunch, i enjoyed some baked potatoes, some corn with salsa, and also had some whole grain, with mixed vegetables :) lunch was delicious! :) i put a movie on, after the noon news weather update :) it's a nice day, i've been enjoying some time here on ds, and also put some more goodies outside, for our nature animal friends :) i put a bowl of water outside for them too, so they can get a nice drink. we want to make sure our nature animal friends, are ok, and have enough food, and water :) i'm excited to take some new pictures of the snowfall, making a video of it, and also writing cards this upcoming weekend, and watching football, the playoffs begin :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice start to the new year :) You all are always in our thoughts, prayers, and in our hearts :) Thank you all, for all that you do for us :) We appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of our hearts :) BIG GROUP COZY WARM HUG :) Tonight, i'm gonna put some tv on for a little while, and maybe a dvd too :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)
