Winter Chill

There's a chill in the air this morning, I feel it all through my body, o cuddle into my comforter for warmth and yet it still isn't enough. The heat I can hear yet I feel nothing. What is it about Winter makes us yearn for heat of any kind? Daylight hasn't yet come through and I'm laying in bed having chocolate coffee with a apple turnover under my quilted covers and I'm at peace for now but soon the chill will return and I'll have to seek warmth from other places..
